I was looking for an affordable velvet hooded cloak to perform my ritual works and ran across this item on Amazon, every other site I checked their prices were outrageous. I bought this one and I was very surprised at the quality of the product, and at such an a reasonable price too. the cloak is well made and the quality outstanding, I'm very happy I found this on Amazon. so happy in fact I plan of purchasing a few more in different colors in the very near future, I will also pass the info along to my fellow metaphysical sista witches in our coven. by far a superior product at an affordable price!!!

I ordered this to be part of a costume.
The length was perfect for this 5'2" plus size woman.
I have already washed it according to the care instructions, and it came out just fine, no loose seams or unravelling.
I wish I had more occasions to wear it. I love it!

I like it. I didn't realize there were holes for the hands until I got it, and they get in my way occasionally and look...odd, but I can understand that they may be useful to someone else. I had someone ask me if it was warmer than a hoodie and...probably not, but it DOES cover my legs, so...that's good. I'm glad I got it.

I liked this product for the most part. i think that the quality compared with the price was a bit steep. i would not buy this again for the price. i thought that the material would be heavier and flow better.
it will do but I would not have baught it twice.

This cloak looks EXACTLY like it does in the picture - which I personally find very attractive about the whole purchasing process. I tend to not care for merchandisers who basically lie about their product, and when you get it, it doesn't look anything like what you thought. This cloak absolutely looks just as I thought it would. It is very nice quality, and will make a wonderful costume cloak. It is nice crushed panne velvet, soft, and luxurious. It hits me at just the right spot on the ankle - I am 5'3", so if you are any taller, know that the bottom of the cloak will hit you higher. The width is definitely enough to cover my "fuller figure."
A very nice find. I recommend it for anyone trying to beef up their Halloween costume.
