weird sizing & cheaply made October 13, 2007

Ditto the other reviewer- these costumes are v. cheaply made (although I was prepared for that having read the other review), although most halloween costumes are, I guess! I haven't tried to iron or wet out the wrinkles yet but it definitely arrives v/ wrinkled.
The sizing is a bit strange- for the female costume, the skirt is v. small (I am 5'0" and will be wearing it riding pretty low with bike shorts under & it'll still be pretty short), but the top is huge, i have to roll the sleeves up many many times, it is v. baggy & the armpits are close to my waist.
The men's shirt seems to be an appropriate size for men who are not extremely tall or heavy, but the pants would probably not fit anyone taller than maybe 5'8ish (and they have elastic around the ankles...)so my husband will be wearing black shorts with the top instead...
It'll still be fun to wear but definitely not worth the full price $40 some sites are charging.

I have ordered several of the costumes from this company and they are pretty poorly made. The material is really thin and they do not hold thier shape and cannot be ironed to smmoth the pleats. They never look like the pictures.
