The Aris Allen Satin Ultra Skinny Tie is 1.5" wide and 57" long. The ties are available in Black, White, Red, and Blue. The skinny tie is made from 100% polyester material with a satin finish. Long have I searched in vain for that last piece to pull off the 'casual tie' look. Some cotton skinny ties I tried were too stiff, too formal. One tie that would have fit the bill was an inch too thick for my taste. After nearly $100 spent over the course of 8 months I found this product here.
Firstly, the material is absolutely perfect. it is shiny, but not gaudy, thin, but holds it's shape, soft, but sturdy. The construction of the tie is good, although the underseam could have been more sturdy, and due to the sheerness of the material, the practiced eye can see a line down the front of the tie.
I purchased a blue tie and a white tie, the blue color is absolutely gorgeous, and the white... well it's white, what can i say?
Like all single-width ties, there is no loop for the secondary tie tail. You might want to invest in a tie pin, or if you want to go really retro, a clip.

You don't need a brand name skinny tie with this product. The material is shinny just enough to make it look nice, and not like a cheap tie

This tie was pretty nice for the price. Really skinny ties that don't have a strange pattern are kind of hard to find. This tie is classy-looking.
